 Stephen Wasley has been practicing law in the State of Georgia since 2001. He handles litigation of cases in the areas of business law, contract law, criminal law, family law, personal injury law, wildlife law. Stephen has handled both jury, and non-jury trials in all of these different areas of law, in the Administrative, State, and Superior Courts all over the State of Georgia.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree and completed his undergraduate education at Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey, majoring in political science and economics. Stephen attended the University of Copenhagen- School of Law in Denmark, and graduated from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
During law school Stephen worked as a student attorney in the legal aid clinic, participated in a Moot Court Competition in Hartford, Connecticut, and was a member and editor of the law review.
Admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2001, Stephen is licensed to practice in all trial and appellate courts of the State of Georgia, and the United States District for the Northern District of Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Veteran's Advocacy and Benefits Association, and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Stephen started practicing law at Post & McDaniel, P.C. a personal injury litigation firm, and earned the reputation of a winning, hard-working, aggressive trial lawyer. Since moving into private practice, he has maintained that reputation in other areas of the law.
Stephen sees a need in the community for an honest, aggressive trial lawyer who is committed and devoted to the representation of people and founded his own firm in October of 2002. Stephen has also worked of counsel for the Law Office of David Lee, LLC, and the Law Office of Lee and Vaughan, LLC. Stephen enjoys his current position and challenges, as a litigation attorney for the Law Office of John Vaughan. Stephen currently handles personal injury cases at all different stages of the litigation process.
During his legal practice, Stephen has developed and maintained strong relationships with his former clients, and with people from all different walks of life, and professions. Stephen enjoys practicing law, and the challenges the practice of law has to offer. |
